Heath, who is often seen collecting rubbish and cleaning street signs with his mother Hayley Ridgewell, has inspired the installation of a new planter outside Tamworth Drive.
The idea for the planter came from Heath himself. He approached local representatives with a request to brighten up the area and create something the community could enjoy.
Working with West Swindon Parish Council, the proposal was progressed and the planter has now been installed.

The move is seen as recognition of Heath and Hayley’s continued efforts to keep the neighbourhood clean and welcoming.
Parish Councillor Nandini Singh praised the pair’s commitment.
She said: “When Heath, a young boy who is often seen litter picking and cleaning street signs with his lovely mum Hayley Marie Ridgewell, reached out about getting a planter outside Tamworth Drive, West Swindon Parish Council listened.
“There is now a planter just outside Tamworth. Enjoy planting and make it stand out, Heath and Hayley. Gratitude to you both for what you do for the community.”
She added that she and fellow Parish Councillor Mary Martin were pleased to see the planter installed and acknowledged the positive impact Heath and Hayley continue to have locally.
The story reflects wider efforts across West Swindon to keep public spaces tidy and attractive, with volunteers regularly giving up their time to improve the area.

While litter picking is often linked to organised groups, Heath’s actions demonstrate how young people can also play a meaningful role in caring for their community.
Residents are now hoping the planter will flourish and add colour to Tamworth Drive, with Heath and Hayley continuing their work to keep the area clean.
