The event marked a milestone for the Old Town Business Association, with Victoria Road hosting one of its summer events for the first time as the festival expanded beyond its traditional footprint.
Visitors enjoyed live performances throughout the afternoon on The Victoria stage, alongside a mechanical rodeo bull, funfair rides, trampolines, street food, craft drinks and plenty of outdoor seating, creating a fantastic atmosphere across the town centre.
Live music was at the heart of the festival, with The Victoria Stage providing an afternoon of country and Americana performances from MJ Reynolds, Britt & The Backbeat, JB & The Mojo Makers and Hicktown Breakout, who kept the crowds entertained throughout the day.
The Old Town Business Association would like to thank The Victoria, Domino’s and Deacons Jewellery for sponsoring the stage and helping to make the live entertainment possible. Their support played an important part in delivering another successful free community event for Old Town.
The Beer & Country Festival was the first of three free events taking place in Old Town this August, with UkraineFest arriving in Town Gardens on Saturday 22nd August, followed by the World Street Foods Festival on Sunday 30th August.
