Founded by Samina Khan-Sharma, Gold Earth began as a personal project during her battle with severe hair loss and health issues. What started as a kitchen experiment has grown into a fully certified skincare business, with products now available across Swindon, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.

“As a mum and an independent maker from Highworth, this recognition means the world to me. I started Gold Earth at home while trying to heal myself, and I hope it inspires others in our local community who are trying to build something from nothing.”
Each Gold Earth product is vegan-friendly, CPSR-approved, and inspired by traditional natural remedies passed down from Samina’s great-grandmother. Every batch is made by hand in Highworth, using carefully sourced ingredients designed to nourish the skin naturally.
The Phoenix Radiance Facial Oil impressed judges for its formulation, texture and ethical approach, earning Gold Earth the top honour in this year’s Vegan Beauty Awards.
