GEL Studios has announced the return of its ‘Win a Creative Solution’ initiative, offering three bespoke creative projects to charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and not-for-profit organisations across the SN postcode area.
The competition, which opens today (Wednesday 14th October), will see three local good causes receive tailored support from the agency, with the winning projects delivered throughout 2027.
The support could include refreshing an organisation’s branding, developing a new marketing strategy or improving its website, depending on what would make the biggest difference to its work.

The initiative aims to help organisations strengthen their presence, communicate more effectively and reach more people across the local community.
Last year, GEL Studios supported three organisations through the competition, including The Harbour Project, which helps refugees in Swindon, Teamability, which delivers disability awareness workshops in schools and businesses, and The Kelly Foundation, which provides practical support to adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
The Harbour Project chose to use its £5,000 creative resource for a brand messaging workshop with GEL Studios’ SEO and creative specialists.
The resulting messaging guidelines helped the charity communicate its services and connect with the people it supports while remaining true to its identity.

GEL Studios founder Graeme Leighfield said giving back to the local community remained a central part of the agency’s work.
“Making a difference in our community is at the heart of everything we do at GEL Studios.
“So far this year, we’ve supported more than 40 good causes, donating over 1,200 hours of work and helping to reach more than 58,000 people.
“As our agency grows, so does our ability to give back. We’re looking forward to seeing the incredible work happening across the SN area and putting our time, skills and creativity behind three more brilliant causes.”
The competition will once again involve the local community, with public voting taking place later this year.
Nominations open on Wednesday 14th October and close on Friday 13th November, with applications required to be submitted by an employee of the organisation seeking support.
Public voting will then open on Monday 23th November and continue until Friday 11th December.
The number of votes received will determine the order in which the three successful organisations have their creative projects developed during 2027, with those receiving the most votes having their work completed earlier.
The three winners will be announced on Wednesday 16th December.
Eligible charities, CICs and not-for-profit organisations operating within the SN postcode area can enter by completing the application form on GEL Studios’ dedicated competition page.
