The funding milestone follows a series of fundraising campaigns and community initiatives led by the Swindon shopping destination since 2023.
The relationship began during Swindon’s Big Dog Art Trail in 2023. Since then, the outlet has named Julia’s House as its Charity of the Year for three consecutive years.
Money has been generated through donations linked to the outlet’s Christmas experiences, as well as colleague fundraising treks and marathon challenges. A permanent donation station inside the centre has also encouraged shoppers to give throughout the year.
Expired lost property items from the outlet have been donated to Julia’s House charity shops for resale, providing an additional source of income for the hospice.
Representatives from the charity recently visited the outlet to receive a cheque marking the £22,000 total. The outlet has confirmed it will continue supporting the charity into 2026.
Jo Common, Corporate Fundraiser at Julia’s House, said: “It is amazing that the outlet has raised and donated an incredible £22,000 to our Julia’s House children and families since the start of our partnership.
“We are thrilled that their support is continuing, as partnerships like this are crucial in helping us keep our vital service going for the children and families who rely on our care.”
Charlotte King, Marketing Manager at Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Swindon, said: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together over the past three years.
“We’re delighted to continue building on this partnership and finding new ways to support the amazing work they do.”
Julia’s House provides specialist clinical care and emotional support for children with life-limiting and complex conditions, supporting families across Wiltshire and Dorset.
