Revolution Performing Arts (RPA), which runs classes across Swindon, North Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, has welcomed 18-year-old Angel Da Silva Adams to the business founded by her mother, Fi Da Silva Adams.
Angel, who lives in Swindon, has taken on the role of Leader at RPA, helping to deliver classes, manage social media, and oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation.
Speaking about her new role, Angel said:
“The atmosphere when the young people walk into a room and give you a big hug because they’ve missed you is unmatched. When you show them something new, like a dance move, and they get it right, their pride is incredible. There’s no better feeling than seeing a young person feel proud of themselves.”
After studying at Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, Angel supported her mother at RPA before gaining wider work experience. She now combines her new position with a part-time role at a pub in South Cerney.
Ambitious and passionate about performing, Angel hopes to audition for drama school, with dreams of performing on the West End, pursuing screen acting, and creating her own music.
“My vision is to help young people feel seen and to ease the pressures they carry. For me, success will be measured by the joy and confidence they gain in our sessions,” she said.
RPA founder Fi Da Silva Adams said the anniversary milestone and her daughter’s appointment marked a special moment for the company.
“Having Angel officially join the team in our 18th year feels incredibly special. RPA has always been about creating safe, joyful spaces for children and young people, and to see Angel take that forward with her own unique energy, empathy, and ambition is wonderful.”
Outside of work, Angel enjoys spending time with friends and watching films, and credits her boyfriend Jenson for supporting her creative journey and encouraging her to take on new opportunities.
Revolution Performing Arts continues to offer classes designed to help children and young people build confidence, creativity and self-expression through performance.
