Taylor Wimpey’s new Swindon development has proved to be a hit with buyers since it launched in June, with 11 customers reserving a new home and plenty of visitors booking in to visit the showhome.

Ambrose Gardens brings a mix of 62 high quality homes to Croft Road, on the outskirts of Old Town, with a selection of two, three and four-bedroom properties available.

As well as building new homes Taylor Wimpey will make a number of contributions towards the local area, including £69,000 towards improving Wichelstowe play area and creating a pedestrian crossing outside the development in Croft Road.

The Ambrose Gardens sales team held a virtual launch in June to introduce people to the
development from the comfort of their sofas.

The four-bedroom Midford showhome opened shortly afterwards, with customers now able to visit on an appointment-only basis with strict social distancing measures in place.

Taylor Wimpey is currently saying thank you to care workers for their efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic by offering a 5% discount on any new home, as well as free carpets and vinyl throughout the house.

The discount has helped a number of customers to reserve at Ambrose Gardens, including several local hospital workers.

Danielle Heard, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire, said: “I’m really pleased to see so many people falling in love with Ambrose Gardens. We knew that there was a lot of interest before the launch, and it is a credit to our fantastic sales team that they were able to use new methods such as video calls and virtual tours to put across their passion for the development and help customers to find their dream home.

“We still have a good range of plots available, including some beautiful three-bedroom homes that would suit first time buyers and young families. Interest continues to grow so I’d urge people to get in touch sooner rather than later to ensure that they don’t miss out.”

Ambrose Gardens is in Croft Road, Swindon, SN1 4DT. Visits are by appointment only. Customers can call 01249 475515, email [email protected] or visit
