British Olympic Champion Mo Farah has teamed up with Village Gym to launch a new total body athletic training class. Launching this month, fans across the country can try it out for free at Village Gym Swindon for one weekend only, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June.

SIR MO FARAH’S NEW MOTION FITNESS CLASS

Providing a glimpse into Mo’s regime, the 30-minute group fitness class will work every muscle group in a total-body workout, from high cardio reps to strength and resistance moves  and core exercises. The bumper class is suitable for all fitness levels and is perfect for those looking for ‘Mo-tivation’ to adopt a healthy workout routine.

As well as the MOTION class, Village Gym will be offering a host of other free activities throughout the weekend, including a bumper Class Timetable and plenty of outdoor fitness fun for all, as well as health and wellbeing checks to help visitors keep on track of their fitness goals. What’s more, Village Hotel Club will be hosting a Beach Party with a Club BBQ or Summer Buffet for the perfect pitstop before heading home.

Mo’s MOTION class and the Village Gym Open Weekend are part of the Village Green campaign, which aims to nurture local communities via a new range of community hubs, supporting everything from community health and wellbeing to business and employment.

Last month, Sir Mo Farah was announced as Village Hotel Club’s new Community Fitness Ambassador, calling for greater access to fitness facilities for local communities. . In addition to the launch of MOTION, Village Gym Swindon’s staff are also pledging time and expertise to schools and colleges to support children from the local community in their journey to a fitter, healthier lifestyle.

Sir Mo Farah, Village Hotel Club Community Fitness Ambassador, said: “It’s hugely important to me to inspire everyone, young and old, to be more active and it’s amazing to see Village Gym open up their facilities to the community. My new MOTION class is suitable for all, first time gym-goers and seasoned athletes. I hope everyone enjoys getting moving!”

Andrew Spink, General Manager at Village Hotel Club Swindon, commented: “Mo is one of the most inspirational athletes in British history and as our new Community Fitness Ambassador, we’re thrilled to have created our new MOTION fitness class together. Over the last few months our Village Gym teams have been pledging time and expertise to help kids by visiting neighbouring schools, and now we’re opening our doors to help inspire adults. We hope to see a lot of the local community come and try out the MOTION class and check out our facilities for free over the 22nd and 23rd June.”
