One of Highworth's biggest annual events is set to return next week, with organisers promising the largest WRDE Up festival to date before the event takes an indefinite break.

WRDE Up 2026 will be held on Friday 3rd July and Saturday 4th July at Swindon Road, bringing two days of live music, food, drink and family entertainment to the town.

Organisers say months of planning have resulted in the biggest edition of the festival so far, with tribute acts, live bands, DJs, local performers, dance groups and community entertainment scheduled across both days.

Headline acts include Green Haze, Chappell Roan UK, The Skadinals and singer-songwriter Josh Kumra, alongside a range of local performers aimed at audiences of all ages.

The event has continued to grow beyond its music offering, with a wide selection of food vendors, bars and family activities planned across the site.

Recent additions include Gurt Wings and Andrew’s Quality Meats, adding to the choice available for visitors throughout the weekend.

Organisers say WRDE Up has developed into more than a music festival, becoming a community event that brings together local families, performers, traders, businesses and sponsors each summer.

To encourage more people to attend across the weekend, anyone buying a Saturday ticket can also claim free entry to Friday’s opening night by selecting the offer at checkout.

Demand has already been high, with both Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets selling out. The festival is now in its final ticket release, with organisers encouraging anyone planning to attend to book soon.

This year’s event will also mark the start of an indefinite break for WRDE Up after organisers confirmed the festival will pause following the 2026 edition.

Despite the upcoming hiatus, organisers say this year’s festival will celebrate everything WRDE Up has grown into over the years while giving the community another opportunity to come together.

Tickets for WRDE Up 2026 are on sale now, with the final allocation currently available.
