The free event, organised by V2Gether Swindon CIC, celebrated Goan culture through live music, performances, family activities, food stalls and community groups.
San João is a traditional Goan festival focused on friendship, hospitality and bringing people together. Organisers said the event provides an opportunity for people from all backgrounds to experience and celebrate Goan culture.

Among those attending was Swindon South MP Will Stone, who has supported the event in previous years.
Speaking at the festival, Mr Stone said: “Yes, I came last year, and the year before.” He added: “quite a lot of different food, which I can definitely not pronounce, but it’s lovely.”
Families from across Swindon attended throughout the day, enjoying a programme of entertainment alongside traditional food and refreshments.
Lead organiser Joseph Pereira said the event continues to grow each year and highlights the strength of Swindon’s Goan community while welcoming residents from across the town.

The festival has become a regular part of Swindon’s summer events calendar, showcasing the town’s cultural diversity and encouraging connections between different communities.
Organisers thanked volunteers, performers, sponsors and visitors for helping make the event another success.
