Wiltshire Police appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was assaulted in West Swindon.

Around 11.15am yesterday (7 June) the 17-year-old was walking through Camden Close Recreation Ground when two males approached and assaulted her.

She was pushed to the ground and kicked but the two ran off back towards the entrance of the park after the girl screamed out.

Special Constable Gary Vickery said: “This young lady received cuts and bruises to her face and arm in what was a nasty assault.
“This is a park in a residential area and someone should have heard or seen something, especially as the victim did scream out.
“Perhaps you saw two males running or acting suspiciously around this time?
“If you heard or saw anything out of the ordinary please come forward.”

If you can help with our enquiries please contact police on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
