At approximately 9:45 am yesterday, 3 October 2018, a collision occurred between a red three wheeled vehicle and lorry on the M4 Motorway westbound between junctions 16/17.
A 68-year-old local man who was driving the red Morgan three wheeled car sadly died at the scene.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but his family have been informed and our thoughts are with them.
The M4 was closed to allow the air ambulance to land and officers to carry out examination of the scene.
