Traffic held on M4 E/B between J17-J16 due to Multi-vehicle collision

Motorists are warned to avoid the M4 eastbound carriageway between J17 and J16 due to a multi-vehicle collision, which is causing long delays.

At this time, one of three lanes is closed.

Police are currently on the scene dealing with the incident.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to return between 12:15 and 12:30pm this afternoon.

All lanes have now reopened on the #M4 eastbound between J17-J16. Damaged vehicles have been moved to the hard shoulder. Delays clearing.
