IF you’ve ever wanted to do a skydive, then Wiltshire Air Ambulance has places available.
The skydive will be taking place on Sunday 20 May 2018 at Old Sarum airfield and sponsorship raised by those taking part will help to keep the charity’s helicopter and crew flying and saving lives.
Kenresa Stratford, Fundraising Coordinator at Wiltshire Air Ambulance, said: “We’re really excited to offer this skydive. Participants will jump in tandem with an experienced professional skydiver from 10,000 feet and experience the dramatic scenery of Salisbury Plain.
“We held a skydive at Old Sarum airfield last June which was hugely popular and raised over £8,700 for our Airbase Appeal. Myself and some colleagues braved the 10,000 feet jump and it was truly exhilarating. You really get a sense of how beautiful Wiltshire is when you see it from above!
“It was an experience I’ll never forget and if you’ve thought a skydive is something you’d like to do but been reluctant to, then I would say try it. The sense of achievement once you’ve completed it stays with you. It’s also extremely rewarding as the money raised through your sponsorship means you’ll be helping us to continue to keep flying and saving lives.”
