Swindon man charged with sex offences

A Swindon man has been charged with nine offences and has been remanded in custody.

Robert Mulhern (24) from Twickenham Close, Swindon was charged with four counts of sexual offences against two boys (under 16) and five charges of breaching a previous court order.

Four sexual offences relate to meeting two boys under 16 on-line: two offences of causing a boy to engage in sexual activity and non sexual activity.

A further two offences of meeting a boy online and communicating in a sexual way.

He appeared at Swindon Magistrates on Saturday 29 July 2017 and was remanded in custody.

He is next due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on Friday 1 September 2017 via video link.
