Police have released CCTV pictures of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an assault on a woman in Swindon town centre.

A woman in her 30’s was assaulted by an unknown man in an alleyway close to the car park off Havelock Square/Havelock Street at approximately 5am on Sunday 29th July.

Fortunately the woman received only cuts and bruises but was badly shaken by the ordeal.
Det Insp Helen Jacobs, from Swindon CID, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may recognise this man or may know something about the assault.   Perhaps you heard or saw something suspicious in this area on this day?

“If you have any information, we would like to hear from you.  Please call Swindon CID on 101, quoting crime reference number 54180070838, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
