Local Wiltshire charity, Carer Support Wiltshire are giving unpaid carers registered with them a break from their caring role by treating them to afternoon tea during Carers Week.

Carers Week runs from 12th to 18th June 2017 and is an annual awareness campaign to bring caring right out into the open – recognising and celebrating the contribution carers make to families and communities throughout the UK.

The afternoon tea events will be held throughout the week at various locations including beautiful Bowood Hotel Spa and Golf Resort and various residential care homes in the region.  You can find all the details on their website at www.carersinwiltshire.co.uk

People can get involved in Carers Week celebrations by hosting their own charity afternoon tea and raising funds for Carer Support Wiltshire’s Time For Carers Appeal. Contact Jon Berridge at Carer Support Wiltshire to find out more.

If you look after someone and think you might be a carer contact Carer Support Wiltshire on 0800 181 4118
