Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a male indecently exposed himself to a woman in Highworth.

The incident happened between 1.20pm and 1.25pm on Monday 26 June 2017 – a woman in her 60’s was walking along Sevenfields when a male approached her and asked her if she lived in the area, she replied and asked if she could help him.

He said ‘no, not right now’ and walked off.   She then turned in to Knowlands where the same male jumped out of some bushes and indecently exposed himself, the woman ran off.

Although shaken, the victim was unhurt.

The man is described as: white, 5ft 2 inches tall with dark hair and bulging blue eyes, he was of average build and was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and top.  He spoke with a local accent.

PC Rebecca Berni said: “This was obviously very distressing for the woman involved; we would like to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in this area at this time of day.”

If you can help with our enquiries please contact PC Rebecca Berni on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
