Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a handbag was stolen from a car on Cherbury Walk, Swindon.

Around 7.30am on Thursday 29 June 2017 an unknown offender(s) smashed the front passenger window of the Fiat 500 and took a black handbag containing a purse with bank cards. The owner had only briefly parked up so she could go back in to her home to collect something.

The bag was subsequently found but the purse and cards were gone.

CCTV images of a male officers would like to speak to in relation to this incident are attached.

If you can identify the person in the photos or heard or saw anything suspicious in this area at this time please contact PC Sarah Gagen on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
