Wiltshire Police is appealing for information to identify a man officers would like to speak to after a handbag was stolen from a West Swindon pub.

The incident happened around 9am on Wednesday 24 May 2017 at the Village Inn, Shaw Village Centre, Ramleaze Drive;  an unknown suspect(s) took the bag while the victim was working indoors.

The handbag contained a number of items including: a mobile phone, diary, house and pub keys.

A man was seen in the pub just before the bag was taken.

A CCTV image of a man police would like to speak to in relation to this incident is pictured above.

PC Nathan Martin said:  “This is a busy area, especially at this time of the morning – someone should have seen or heard something suspicious.
“If you recognise the man in the picture or can help with our enquiries in any way – please contact me.”

If you can help with our enquiries please contact PC Nathan Martin on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111
