Recognised as a benchmark of employee engagement within British business, the award reflects what staff are saying about their employers and their work place environments.   In addition to looking at detailed data on company benefits policies, processes and facilities, the research focusses on the views of employees by asking them, via a confidential survey, about their perceptions of the company in areas including; team leadership, management, personal growth, wellbeing, benefits and giving back.

Peter Boucher, company CEO, speaking about the company’s accomplishment, said; “It’s really great news that we’ve retained our position as a Sunday Times 100 Best Small Company to Work For. We believe that in order to drive sustainable growth for a company, you need to ensure you improve in the key areas of finance, customer excellence, employee engagement and contribution to the broader community.  We achieved this last year and employee engagement underpins all of this.”

Excalibur’s position in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Company to Work For 2018, is as a direct result of a Best Companies workplace engagement survey completed at the end of 2017.  Full details of the Best Companies survey can be found at:  thesundaytimes.co.uk/best100companies
