Wiltshire Police would like to hear from anyone with information about an assault which occurred outside the Brass Monkey, Wood Street, Swindon.
At 00:35 on Saturday 30 June, a 21 year old local man was assaulted outside the bar and sustained significant facial injuries. He is receiving treatment at hospital.
An investigation was launched and a 26 year old man from Gloucestershire was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was taken to Gablecross Police Station and later released under police investigation.
