Police are appealing for information regarding an assault which occurred in Swindon.

On Saturday 20 May between 3:45 – 4:00 am a 17 year old local man was assaulted outside of Wilkinson’s store on Fleet Street.

The offenders stamped on the victims face causing a laceration, swelling and a broken eye socket for which he required hospital treatment.

CCTV images of men officers would like to speak to in connection with the offence are above.

It appears to be an unprovoked attack and it’s not clear how many offenders there were at this stage.

Anyone with information is asked to please contact PC Ruth Abbott at Gablecross Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
