Officers at Wiltshire Police are appealing for a potential key witness to come forward after a man was stabbed in Mannington Recreation Ground on Sunday 6 August 2017.
This re-appeal comes after the original appeal for witnesses on 8 August 2017.
The victim was taken to Southmead Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He has now been released from hospital and is recovering well.
Det Con Alan Mills said: “We have information about a potential key witness who was in the park at 9.30pm – just before the victim was assaulted.
“This person was on a bike cycling towards the entrance/exit to Morris Street.
“My message to that person is: we would like to speak to you as soon as possible – please come forward.”
“We would also like to re-appeal to anyone who was on Paddington Drive and Morris Street around that time on that day to come forward.”
