Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Swindon.
Wiltshire Police were contacted by the ambulance service just before 6.30am yesterday morning (29/4) regarding a report of a man with serious injuries in the Godwin Court area of Old Town.
The 36-year-old man has been taken to Great Western Hospital with serious head and back injuries. He is not thought to be in a life threatening condition.
The public are likely to see an increased police presence in the Old Town area as our enquiries progress.
