2 lanes closed M4 westbound between J15 and J16 due to a multiple vehicle collision

A collision between multiple vehicles has closed 2 of 3 lanes on the M4 westbound carriageway between J15 and J16 causing delays to motorists.

Traffic officers and emergency services are on the scene dealing with the incident.

Recovery of the damaged vehicles is underway, but it’s expected to take several hours for the lanes closures to re-open.

Normal traffic conditions are expected between 16:00 and 16:15 on 4 July 2017.
