Maybe You’re The Same As Me: A Night of Comedy in Support of The Harbour Project takes place this Tuesday 15th September, raising money for the Swindon charity which supports refugees and people seeking asylum.
Graham will host a bill featuring The Screen Rot Podcast’s Jacob Hawley, Esther Manito, Michael Odewale and Swindon Old Town Comedy Club founder Sam Michael.
The event follows two previous sell-out comedy fundraisers for The Harbour Project.
The first Wyvern event in September 2025 proved particularly significant for the charity, which later described it as its most successful single fundraising event to date, praising the “goodwill and generosity” of the sell-out audience.
A further show, Because We Need Each Other, was staged at the Wyvern in April this year, before Graham and the charity confirmed another return for September.
For Graham, the relationship with The Harbour Project goes beyond simply appearing at a fundraising event.
The comedian and committed Swindon Town supporter has previously spoken about his mother’s work with the charity and the connection it has given his family with the town.
Discussing his 2026 show Orange Crush, Graham said The Harbour Project had given his mother “a much greater sense of connection to Swindon”, while talking about his own efforts to become more involved with the town and its community.
That Swindon connection even extends to the ticket price. Tickets for Tuesday’s show start at £19.69, a figure Graham also uses for his own tour tickets as a reference to the year Swindon Town famously won the League Cup.
The Harbour Project, based at Broadgreen Community Centre, supports refugees and asylum seekers living in Swindon through advice, advocacy, practical assistance and community support.
The charity says asylum seekers are dispersed to accommodation in Swindon while their claims are considered, while its services also support people who have been granted refugee status and are rebuilding their lives in the town.
Its work has continued to expand, including the launch earlier this year of the Step-Up Project, designed to help refugees into meaningful employment, and The Anchor, a new regular-giving programme supporting its work.
Tuesday’s comedy night brings that work together with a Swindon comedy scene which has also been gathering momentum.
Sam Michael’s Swindon Old Town Comedy Club won the 2026 Chortle Award for Best Pro Comedy Night in the West of England and Wales, while Graham was among the headline names involved in the town’s first independently run multi-venue comedy festival earlier this year.
