The annual event takes place on Saturday 15th August, with organisers promising a full day of celebrations centred around diversity, inclusion and equality. Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle will headline the Main Stage.
The day begins with the Pride March, with participants meeting outside Nationwide on Regent Street from 11am before setting off through the town centre at 11.30am towards GWR Park.
The festival site opens at 11am and will begin with a quieter hour until midday, offering reduced noise levels for visitors who prefer a calmer environment. The Pride March is expected to arrive at noon, marking the official start of the day’s entertainment.
Visitors will be able to enjoy performances across two stages throughout the day.
The Main Stage programme includes The Spotlight Choir, The Harry Styles Show, Lady Gaga tribute act Donna Marie and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourite Baga Chipz before Nadine Coyle closes the event.
The Community Stage will feature local performers including North Star New Wave Sound Collective and Swindon’s Chocolate Theatre.
Former Great British Bake Off contestant Janusz Domagała is also due to perform alongside Pride co-host Latina Ballroom on a newly released single.
Away from the live entertainment, GWR Park will host food and drink vendors, shopping stalls, community organisations, youth spaces, a circus experience and funfair rides.
The celebrations will continue into the evening with the official Pride Afterparty at The Steam Railway in Old Town. Hosted by Adam All and Apple Derrières, the event will also feature entertainment from Kylie on Show.

Swindon & Wiltshire Pride was first launched in 2008 before expanding into a county-wide event the following year. It became a registered charity in 2019 and is now recognised as one of the South West’s largest Pride celebrations.
