Your Music Festival Checklist

Music festival season is upon us and there are a plethora of events for all tastes and styles across the UK. Music festivals can be an exciting opportunity to see your favourite artists and let your hair down, but you need to make sure that you are well prepared before setting off for a weekend of fun. Here are a few of the key items that you will need to take with you to really make the most out of the festival.

Clothes

In terms of clothing, you need to be prepared for everything (this is the UK, after all!). Even in the middle of summer, it can get a bit chilly in the evenings and mud can be a big issue even with just a little bit of rain. You will also want to be comfortable and look your best, so women’s t-shirts with some summer shorts could be a good combo.

Deodorant Wipes

One of the more challenging aspects of camping is staying clean, especially when you are dancing all day in large crowds and in hot weather! Deodorant wipes are perfect for camping and will help you to feel fresh (or at least as fresh as you can feel at a festival) each morning.

Portable Charger

You certainly don’t want to run out of phone battery during a music festival so that you don’t get separated, to keep up to date with news back home and take photos and videos. This can all use up a lot of charge, so it is smart to bring along a (fully charged) portable charger or power bank with you.

Sun Cream

Sun cream is essential for a music festival even if it is overcast. You will be spending practically all day outdoors and shade can be hard to come by, so you want to make sure that you protect yourself. There is nothing worse than getting burned on your first day!

Bin Bags

Bin bags are incredibly handy during a festival and you will find that they can be used in many ways. Obviously, they are useful for collecting rubbish  – after all, you do not want to be someone who leaves behind massive piles of rubbish at the end of the weekend. In addition to this, bin bags can be used to keep things dry, for separating dirty laundry and even as a waterproof layer when it is raining.

These are just a few of the key items that you will want to pack when heading off to a music festival this summer. Music festivals can be great fun and a way to let your hair down, but you need to make sure that you are well prepared so that you can really make the most out of the experience and stay comfortable throughout.
