Swindon’s Optimum Professional Services is inviting people to pit their wits by entering a charity brainteaser next month and are counting on getting lots of entries.
The fun quiz, on Wednesday February 26, is open to teams of four and all proceeds will go towards the company’s two charities of the year: children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent and mental health charity Wiltshire Mind.
Already, staff at the Stratton-based firm – which offers accountancy and legal services – have raised hundreds of pounds through running a series of events, including a weekly bake-off among team members.
The quiz takes place at The Campanile Hotel, Delta Business Park, West Swindon, and starts at 7pm. Entry is £5 per head for teams of four – £20 per team.
“A quiz always goes down well and, more importantly, gives a good boost to our charity funds,” said Michael Blaken, Accounts Director at Optimum. “We’re grateful to The Campanile for allowing us to use the venue. We hope to have teams taking part from among our staff, clients, associates and other businesses in Swindon.”
