Purton Farm Shop will again be running their popular Easter Egg Hunt through the beautiful woods, farmland and gardens of Purton House on Saturday 13th April between 10am to 4pm.

Children and their families are invited to hunt for eggs and answer clues as they follow the map through the countryside.

On their way they will see how we grow food in our fields and poly tunnels and they may even stumble across our secret Fairy Garden! On returning to the farm shop they will receive their prize of a home-made chocolate nest.

Last year over 100 children came along and the Easter Bunny had a job keeping up with supplies of eggs. Says Farm Shop manager Kate Robinson ‘it’s great to see families enjoying themselves in the countryside and finding out how we grow our food. Everything is starting to come to life at this time of year so it’s a great way to kick start the Spring season.’

Entry £3 per child payable on entry at the Farm Shop.

You can find Purton Farm Shop at Church End, Purton, Swindon SN5 4EB.
