The charity, which has its national head office in Swindon, is offering trails, crafts and outdoor fun at several of its most popular local destinations.

Lacock is hosting a pumpkin hunt through its historic grounds, while Stourhead is offering broomstick racing and other Halloween-themed games.

At Avebury, families can take part in hands-on archaeological and nature-based activities. The Courts Garden in Holt will also feature seasonal crafts and storytelling sessions.

The National Trust said its events are designed to help connect people with nature and heritage, while supporting the care and preservation of its sites.
