The event allows pet owners to treat their four-legged friends to a seasonal visit to meet Santa and his elves, take part in a sniff-ari walk, and receive a gift for being a good dog.

There is also the chance to capture a festive photo with Santa Claus during the experience.

Tickets for the Santa Paws event, which runs from Friday 29 November until Christmas Eve, are now on sale. Prices range from £10.50 to £12.50 per dog, depending on location.

When booking, customers can choose to make a donation to Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity. The organisation has backed the event, highlighting its value in helping dogs decompress, make their own choices, and build confidence in a friendly environment.

Ayesha Nickson, Events Programme Manager at Dobbies, said:

“Our customers love to spoil their pooches and Santa Paws is a great way to do just that.

“Our Santa Paws event has grown in popularity in recent years, and we are looking forward to welcoming even more four-legged friends back this year to join in all the fun.

“With the addition of a children’s ticket the whole family can spend quality time together and take part.”

Dogs are welcome throughout the Swindon store and encouraged to be involved in festive activities.

The garden centre also runs a monthly competition where dog owners can submit a photo of their pet for a chance to win a £50 gift card. The Santa Paws event offers a perfect setting to snap a festive portrait.
