Due to the popularity of Wiltshire’s first ever vegan fair in 2016, it is back by popular demand.
On Sunday 14th May, the Wiltshire Vegan Fair will be taking place again, in Chippenham, and will be even bigger and better than last time.
The food on offer ranges from pies, Mexican and pizza to cakes, ice cream and pick ‘n mix – anyone who thinks all vegan food has to be healthy and boring (and only made of lentils) will find this idea deliciously challenged. Yes, vegan junk food does exist.
There will also be guest speakers talking on nutrition and fitness and giving cookery demonstrations so anyone interested can find out more about vegan diets and be inspired to try out new recipes.
For anyone not interested in the food on offer (did I mention there will be loads of vegan chocolate?) there are also many stalls of cruelty-free products; from cosmetics, t-shirts and jewellery to cookery books.
A number of animal welfare charities and campaign organisations are also attending to promote their work.
The fair is not just for vegans – the curious can come and find out more about this lifestyle, speak to experts and try out new products.
So whether you have been a vegan for 20 years, have been part of the 360% increase in UK vegans in the last 10 years or are just curious to find out a bit more and have some questions answered, there is something for everyone.
The event takes place between 10am and 4pm, the entry fee includes a free ticket for the raffle with prizes of hampers of vegan food and pamper products.
All the stallholders are listed on the ‘Wiltshire Vegan Fair’ facebook page www.facebook.com/wiltsveganfair/
