Vehicle and Tools Stolen from Swindon Alleyway

Wiltshire Police are appealing for information after a vehicle was stolen from an alleyway in Swindon.

The vehicle – a red Nissan Cabstar pick-up belonging to a man in his 40s, was stolen from the rear of an address in Westmorland Road at approximately 12.15am yesterday morning (Monday 20 March).

The vehicle had a steel tool box welded to the rear part of the vehicle which contained a large number of tools for the owners business, including drills, saws, angle grinders and disc cutters.  The registration plate ended in ‘KWA’.

PC Zoe Johnson said: “The theft of this vehicle has impacted on the victim’s business as his means of transport and work tools have been stolen.

“I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious behaviour in the area between 11.45pm and 12.15am.”
