Tree, one of Swindon’s most popular nightlife spots has kept it’s license and is staying open following a hearing today Wednesday 22 November.

There has been widespread speculation regarding the future of Tree in recent months following events at the nightclub.

However, the popular nightclub and restaurant is keeping it’s doors open and with Christmas around the corner, clubbers will be looking forward to a packed schedule.

Alan Mok the licensee of Rendezvous and the Tree Nightclub said “We are really pleased to have reached an agreement with the police, we are also grateful to the licensing authority for accepting our agreement. This means we will not be closing as widely speculated.

Since we opened our doors 200,000 people have come in to eat, drink and dance in this beautiful listed building. We are committed to continue to improve our operation in partnership with the police and to provide a first class, safe and welcoming environment. Thank you for all your continuing support.”

Let us know what you make of the decision over on our Facebook page.
