Swindon man charged with offences after Tesco incident

Following the incident at Tesco’s car park on Ocotal last weekend (Sat 2 September 2017) where a man was seriously injured, a Swindon man has now been arrested and charged.

Carl Thomas (36) from Beech Avenue, Swindon was arrested on Friday evening (8 Sept 2017) and was charged on Saturday (9 Sept 2017) with wounding with intent (GBH) and possession of an offensive weapon and was remanded in custody to attend Swindon Magistrates Court this morning (Monday 11 September 2017).
