Wiltshire Police has arrested two other men in relation to the stabbing in Park North on Wednesday 15 November 2016.
A 20-year-old man from Swindon has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently in custody.
A 27-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug. He is currently in custody.
The victim’s condition is still serious but stable.
Det Sgt Scott Anger said: “We are still keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any form of disorder or altercation between a group of men, in the Buckhurst Park area as well as the Welcombe Avenue, Cowley Walk, Kingswood Avenue, Lyndhurst Crescent and Chickerell Road area, around 9pm on Wednesday.
“If you heard or saw anything, irrespective of its insignificance to you, please contact me in Swindon CID.”
