Police seek witnesses following attempted burglary in Manchester Road bookies

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary at a bookmakers on Manchester Road, Swindon.

The incident happened at William Hill around 8.50pm on Saturday 15 October 2016.

An unknown offender walked in to the premises and demanded money and then tried to snatch money from the till; he failed and left empty handed.

A picture of a man officers would like to speak to in relation to this incident is attached.

PC Rob Dent said:  “We would like to speak to anyone who was either in William Hill or near the shop at the time and may have seen or heard anything suspicious.
“Also, if you recognise the man in the picture please contact me.”
