Pizza Hut Restaurants has unveiled a £337,000 restaurant makeover at its Swindon Greenbridge Retail Park Hut, creating 10 new jobs for the area.
The re-opening is part of a multi-million pound nationwide redesign programme by the casual dining company. A brand new, exciting menu will also be rolled out in the revamped Hut that includes chicken wings, Kentucky style BBQ ribs and new additions to its famous warm cookie dough.
All of Pizza Hut Restaurants’ famous icons – including the Ice Cream Factory, Salad Station and Buffet – still take centre stage, but form part of the new, interactive design that includes a central preparation station offering a range of desserts including warm cookie dough, and a self-service soft drinks hub allowing guests to refill drinks at their leisure.
Restaurant Manager Kerry Harding said: “The new makeover is amazing! All of design elements really stand out as soon as you walk through the door and I’m confident guests will be really impressed. We’ve introduced funky wall displays and have a brilliant new lighting scheme that really comes to life in the evenings. On top of that, our brand new menu is packed with tasty dishes like the new Mac ‘N’ Cheese Stuffed crust sharing Pizza and the Kentucky style BBQ ribs.”
Hut Team Member Chelsie Richards, added: “We all love the new makeover. The new booths are perfect for large groups and families and the new design creates a really welcoming and fun atmosphere. In addition, the new menu is great – the S’Mores Cookie Dough is really tasty!”
The investment in Swindon is part of a broader £60 million refurbishment and restructuring programme for the business, secured through private equity investment from Rutland Partners in late 2012.

There’s no shortage of places to get pizza in Swindon these days, but Pizza Hut has remained one of the favourites for many years.
