Wiltshire Poilice have now released photos of the stolen fishing gear found during a recent visit to a property in Wanborough near Swindon.
It follows a visit by officers to an address in the village on Tuesday 12 September 2017 after they were called by a member of the public reporting stolen items on the premises.
A search was carried out by Wiltshire Police and a large quantity of fishing equipment was found and seized.
A 40-year-old local man was arrested for theft and handling stolen goods and has been released under investigation.
PC Dale Townsend said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who may have had fishing gear recently stolen – especially if you live in the South Cerney and Gloucestershire area.
“If you recognise any of this kit, please contact us.”
If you can help with our enquiries in any way please contact PC Dale Townsend or Local Crime Investigator Ashleigh Dowdeswell on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
