A 19-year-old man from Chippenham
A 46-year-old man from Swindon
Superintendent Adrian Burt said: “Officers have been conducting thorough enquiries following the disorder which took place in the town centre amongst football supporters back in November, and this morning, we have arrested 10 men who have all been taken to custody at Gablecross where they remain.
“We will not tolerate violence of any kind and although this incident did not happen at the football ground, football supporters were involved. I appreciate that it is often the small minority of supporters who are intent on causing issues and often spoil the event for those loyal football fans who simply wish to enjoy the game.
“I would like to make supporters aware that officers will take a robust approach against those who act in a violent manner and investigations will always be carried out to identify those responsible.”
Anyone who witnessed the disorder should contact Local Crime Investigator Chloe Beattie on 101.
