Yesterday, 14 December, North Swindon Police contacted Isambard Community School to inform them that a white male,  aged between 30 and 45 driving a white van, had been spotted taking pictures of children.

The man was seen walking around Isambard school, Oakhurst Primary school and in this general area.

Isambard Community School took to their Facebook page to inform parents and carers of the news, which was given to them by North Swindon Police.

The school reminded their students how to stay safe on their way to and from school;

-Do not talk to strangers.
-Stay in groups where possible.
-If walking alone and are worried call a parent to talk to them whilst you are walking.
-Ensure that parent’s or carers know students whereabouts.
-Do not accept lifts from strangers.

This message was given to all students yesterday.

If you have any information about this or see someone with this description please call the police on 101 or if it is an emergency call 999.
