Man dies in collision on A419 near Swindon

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision, which happened on the A419 yesterday (Wednesday 13 September 2017) at around 9.30pm.

The road was closed for three hours to allow collision investigators to carry out their investigations.

A 31-year-old male pedestrian was in collision with a grey Saab 93 on the southbound carriageway; the man died later in hospital.

The woman driver of the car was uninjured. No arrests have been made.
