Wiltshire Police has arrested a Swindon man in connection with the incident in Park North where a man was stabbed.
The 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been released on conditional bail due to return to Swindon’s Gablecross Police Station in early January 2017.
We are still appealing for witnesses who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the Welcombe Avenue, Cowley Walk, Kingswood Avenue, Lyndhurst Crescent and Chickerell Road area around 9pm on Tuesday 15 November 2016.
