Wiltshire Police is investigating a serious assault on a man in Swindon.
As part of its investigation police tape was put up around part of the Transfer Bridges area earlier this morning (Wednesday 30 November 2016).
This is now about to be removed.
This is only part of the on going investigation in to the incident and we are about to speak to the victim to ascertain what happened.
He is in a stable condition in hospital and his injuries are not life threatening.
