Junction 16 of the M4 is currently closed due to a gas leak – All lanes are closed.
Wiltshire Police are urging motorists to use alternative routes.
It is believed that contractors ‘breached a main gas pipe’, gas engineers are on their way to the scene now.
Normal traffic conditions are expected between 12:45 and 13:00pm.
