An E-Fit has been released as part of an investigation into an attempted burglary.

The incident took place at an address in Dunsley Vale, Swindon, at approximately 5.30pm on 16 December.

A woman, aged in her 50s, was home alone when she heard someone try her front door handle. She walked into the hallway and saw a man attempting to open her front door.

When he walked away, the woman opened the door and shouted at the man.

An E-Fit of the man is above.

Wiltshire Police would like to hear from anyone who may recognise the man, as well as anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have further information.

Please call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
