Visitors to Swindon town centre can look forward to a new monthly Street Market taking place on the last Sunday of every month in Havelock Square from 10-4pm.
Organised by inSwindon BID Company in partnership with The Anonymous Travelling Market, the new Sunday Street Market launches on Sunday 26th May. It will offer a mix of hand crafted items, food, jewellery, art, fashion and local community groups each month.
inSwindon BID CEO, Di Powell said, “We are very excited about this new event and hope to build a Sunday Street Market culture, with support from the community. We would encourage local traders, craft makers and groups to get involved. The new market will give visitors another place in which to browse and enjoy everything the town centre has to offer on a Sunday.”
In addition there will be live music from local buskers, so visitors can sit and relax in the midst of the Market and enjoy a relaxing Sunday day out.
Visitors can also take advantage of FREE Sunday parking across the town centre, which has recently been launched by Swindon Borough Council.
