A new children’s indoor-soft play centre has opened in Swindon’s Brunel Shopping Centre and is already proving popular with parents and children alike.

Kiddin Around is situated next to The Crossing, the new food area on the upper floor of The Brunel Arcade and replaces Bonkers Play, which closed down last year.

The new indoor play centre is open seven days a week and has all the play equipment you would expect plus slides, ball cannons and a giant hamster wheel, which the children adore.

For parents and carers there is comfortable sofas plus hot and cold drinks, snacks and food.

Aleshia Burnett is Manager of the new centre. Aleshia said: “We’re really pleased to be up and running at The Brunel shopping centre.  Our customers are telling us it is a pleasant surprise for them as they have really missed having an indoor soft play centre in the town centre.  We’ve had great feedback, everyone has been really welcoming.”

Next month (February 18) Kiddin Around will be running children’s parties and it is hoped that a crèche will be available later this year.

Jane Stewart, Deputy Manager of The Brunel said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Kiddin Around have opened.  Many customers told us how sad they were when Bonkers ceased trading last year and how much they missed having an indoor soft play area in the town centre.  We know that Aleshia and her team will be working hard to build up the new business and, as with all our tenants, we will do everything we can to support them in doing this.  The facility is a great addition, not only to The Brunel but to the Swindon Town Centre too.”

The soft play centre is open between 9.30am and 6pm Mon-Sat, and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays and operates on a fixed-price basis.

For information about prices, plus other facilities and information about children’s parties see our website www.kiddinaroundswindon.com or our Facebook page.
